يمثل عبد الرحمن مؤقت مرحلة لاحقة من تطور النحت الحلبي. ركّز في أعماله على النصب التذكارية والقطع العامة ذات الطابع الوطني والاجتماعي. ارتبطت منحوتاته بالمكان والذاكرة الجماعية أكثر من ارتباطها بالزينة الشكلية. Abdulrahman Mouaqat represents a later phase in the development of Aleppan sculpture. He focused in his works on memorials and public pieces with a national and social character. His sculptures were connected to place and collective memory more than to formal decoration.
من أشهر أعماله نصب الشهداء في ساحة سعد الله الجابري، والنصب الموجود في مطار حلب الدولي — وكلاهما يجسّد ارتباطه العميق بهوية المدينة وذاكرتها. Among his most famous works are the Martyrs' Monument in Saadallah Al-Jabiri Square and the monument at Aleppo International Airport — both embodying his deep connection to the city's identity and memory.
