المصبنجي خبير صناعة الصابون يدوياً، يشرف على عملية «طبخ» زيت الزيتون مع زيت الغار في قدور ضخمة، ثم «بسط» المزيج على الأرض وتوزيعه يدوياً بـ«المقحار». يقوم بتقطيع الصابون وتختيمه بـ«الخاتم» الخشبي، ثم ترتيبه على شكل «برج» هرمي لضمان جفافه وتعتيقه لمدة عام. The musbanjji is a manual soap-making expert who oversees the process of "cooking" olive oil with laurel oil in large pots, then "spreading" the mixture on the ground and distributing it manually. He cuts the soap, stamps it with a wooden seal, then arranges it in a pyramidal "tower" to ensure it dries and ages for a year.
