من أبرز الأصوات التعبيرية في عالم الموسيقى الكلاسيكية المعاصرة. وصفته صحيفة واشنطن بوست بأنه «موهبة فريدة من نوعها»، وتميّز أسلوبه بمزج المقامات العربية الأصيلة مع البنية السيمفونية الغربية بإتقان لافت. One of the most prominent expressive voices in contemporary classical music. The Washington Post described him as "a unique talent," distinguished by his mastery of blending authentic Arabic maqamat with Western symphonic structure.
أنتج ثمانية سيمفونيات وسبعة كونشيرتوات وأكثر من عشرة ألبومات، وقُدِّمت أعماله في أعرق قاعات العالم كـ كارنيغي هول وأوبرا سيدني والأمم المتحدة وقاعة الكونشيرتهاوس في فيينا. He produced eight symphonies, seven concertos and more than ten albums, and his works have been performed in the world's most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House, the United Nations and the Konzerthaus in Vienna.
نال جائزة الموسيقى الإنسانية العالمية عام ٢٠١٤، وهو مؤسس منظمة «بيانوس فور بيس» غير الربحية التي تسعى إلى نشر قيم التسامح والتعليم عبر الموسيقى. He received the Global Humanitarian Music Award in 2014, and is the founder of the non-profit organization "Pianos for Peace," which seeks to spread values of tolerance and education through music.
